A souvenir from Venice

Hi again !

This is not a second post in a day but still its a post on a consecutive day ! Well, I had to share this new creation, its basically recycling of a normal cardboard box, but which carried a very special souvenir from Venice, I bought it from an island there and this is how it was originally contained in a box

And this glass boat I have tell you gave me a real hard time, I had to carry it in my hand bag for the entire journey (not to mention the airport formalities, I had one poor friend who was carrying a similar boat back home and it was broken while in her suitcase !) Well thank god I have it in one piece adorning my show case :) I transformed the box it into something like below

Has it not turned into something so gorgeous, I don't even feel like parting with the box !
The papers are from DCWV, Flowers from Itsy Bitsy - English Roses Vintage small, handmade butterfly, punched leaves, gems and buttons from stash and voila !

Tell me how do you find it ! I would be entering this for

Itsy bitsy craft Flowers challenge
For the love of crafting - The box is the recycled item
Snehal's chalenge  - create a box
All sorts challenge - distressing
